From a Simple Line to Something Sweet
A royal icing transfer sheet turns clean line artwork into a gentle guide. It helps remove the pressure of freehand drawing while leaving plenty of room for your own colors and creative style.
Choose and Print
Select the design and size that best suits your dessert. Print the transfer sheet at actual size without scaling.
Cover the Design
Place the printed sheet beneath a clean transparent transfer sheet, acetate or parchment appropriate for your method.
Pipe the Details
Trace the artwork with royal icing. Begin with outlines, allow them to settle and then add the remaining sections.
Allow It to Dry
Leave the transfer completely undisturbed until it is firm and thoroughly dry. Larger or thicker designs may need longer.
Lift with Care
Gently roll the flexible transfer surface away from the icing piece instead of pulling the decoration straight upward.
Add It to Your Dessert
Attach the finished transfer with a small amount of fresh royal icing or place it carefully on compatible frosting.
Transfer sheets create a repeatable guide, reduce drawing effort and make it easier to prepare matching decorations ahead of time. Your color choices, piping details and dessert arrangement still make every finished project uniquely yours.
Four Ways to Use the Designs
One printable guide, many creative possibilities
Coordinated Cookies
Repeat the same transfer in several colors to create a cohesive cookie box or party platter.
Cupcake Toppers
Use smaller transfers to add matching seasonal details to buttercream-topped cupcakes.
Cake Decorations
Arrange several finished pieces into a cake centerpiece, border or autumn garden scene.
Edible Gifts
Package decorated cookies with ribbon and a handwritten note for neighbors, coworkers or party guests.
A Little Note from Sandra
LuminaFlourish is about giving creativity a comfortable place to begin. A transfer sheet is not meant to limit your ideas—it provides a starting point that you can color, combine and make entirely your own.
